About The Position

Enjoy a rewarding career at CentraCare as a Cook/Baker position at the Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar, MN! This position is responsible for: Preparing meals and food items that support the dietary and food service needs of patients, visitors and employees. Ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation though the use of standardized recipes and adherence to HACCP guidelines. Ensuring the care and cleanliness of equipment, along with upholding sanitation standards. Collaborating with team members to support overall food preparation and kitchen cleanliness. Schedule Part-time | 32 hours per two weeks. Various shifts between 5:30AM and 6:00PM, 8-hour shifts. Includes Every other weekend & holiday rotation. Pay and Benefits $18.02 or more per hour, pay determined by experience. Pay range: $18.02 - $24.56 per hour. Part-time Benefits including medical & dental insurance, Paid Time Off and opportunity to save in a 401k. Qualifications High school diploma or GED In lieu of post high school training, a minimum of one year of experience cooking/related experience in our hospital or similar institution, restaurant or catering production will be accepted. Experience cooking preferred. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to communicate and interact with patients, visitors, and employees in a professional, appropriate manner. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Mathematical skills required to complete clerical tasks. Requirements
