About The Position
Enjoy a rewarding career at CentraCare as a Cook/Baker position at the Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar, MN! This position is responsible for: Preparing meals and food items that support the dietary and food service needs of patients, visitors and employees. Ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation though the use of standardized recipes and adherence to HACCP guidelines. Ensuring the care and cleanliness of equipment, along with upholding sanitation standards. Collaborating with team members to support overall food preparation and kitchen cleanliness.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- In lieu of post high school training, a minimum of one year of experience cooking/related experience in our hospital or similar institution, restaurant or catering production will be accepted.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to communicate and interact with patients, visitors, and employees in a professional, appropriate manner.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Mathematical skills required to complete clerical tasks.
Nice To Haves
- Experience cooking preferred.
