Requirements
- Able to lift 70 lbs and push 600 lbs tubs.
Responsibilities
- Be reliable and punctual in reporting for scheduled work
- Maintain a positive work environment
- Begin by helping set up cutters and machine guards
- Check that the cutter turns off and on correctly
- Continuously feed the cutter with raw material, observing for foreign material
- Perform basic maintenance/troubleshooting on equipment
- Help change blades on cutters, as needed; requiring use of specialized PPE
- Fills out cut room paperwork
- Assist with daily sanitation clean-up
- Maintaining floor free of slip and trip hazards, removing waste materials
- Maintain halls and floors free of slip and trip hazards
- Maintain workspace cleanliness
- Assist supervisor or lead in any assigned task
- Follow basic food safety regulations
- Follow basic safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment
- May require use of electric pallet jack, as needed
