About The Position

The Cook 5 creates and prepares chef specials, efficiently works any station while maintaining productivity, and assists in the preparation and service of banquet functions.

Requirements

  • Ability to plan daily work based on general instructions from the supervisor
  • Superior knife handling abilities
  • Maintain standards listed below

Nice To Haves

  • Four years of experience in a restaurant specializing in continental or classical cuisine, for a total of ten years experience
  • Must meet requirements for Cook 3 and Cook 4
  • Demonstrate knowledge of product utilization, stock rotation, food cost, and waste control
  • Must demonstrate initiative and creativity
