About The Position
This is a new property! We are looking for a Cook 3 to join our team! Are you ready for an amazing, thrilling, fast paced career in hospitality? We have open opportunities to provide you with an amazing future as a part of our team The Cook 3 with be prepping and assembling food orders according to the Chef's set standards. They will be setting up and Stocking stations with necessary supplies. The cook 3 will also be cooking menu items while maintaining safety and sanitation standards in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff. Prepare fresh ingredients for cooking according to recipes/menu Cook food and prepare top-quality menu items in a timely manner Test foods to ensure proper preparation and temperature Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly Ensure the proper sanitation and cleanliness of surfaces and storage containers This role requires the ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs. Standing, sitting or walking for extended periods of time and ensuring a professional appearance in a clean uniform are also required.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Be able to work at a fast pace to execute tasks in a quick and consistent manner.
- Great teamwork skills and attention to detail
- Positive outlook and outgoing personality
- ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Standing, sitting or walking for extended periods of time
- ensuring a professional appearance in a clean uniform
Nice To Haves
- Must have a High School diploma or GED.
- Food Safety Certified
- Previous kitchen experience is a big plus
- Knowledge of how to use a knife, different cuts and basic cooking procedures.
