The Four Seasons Resort Lāna'i is looking for a Cook II who share s a passion for excellence and who infuse s enthusiasm into everything they do. Ou r teams' have the opportunity to shape our guest experience by providing exceptional knowledge o f the Resort and exemplifying the Golden Rule in each interaction. Work authorization required .

Requirements

  • Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States
  • Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card
  • Advanced culinary experience is required for this position
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs , and push/pull as needed during shifts
  • Weekend and Holiday availability required

Responsibilities

  • Execute and plate menu items according to established standards and recipes
  • Demonstrate proficient knife skills and proper food preparation techniques
  • Oversee daily operations when Cook I is absent
  • Assist with menu planning and creation of specials
  • Train and supervise Cook III, IV, and Pantry Cooks
  • Maintain high standards of quality, cleanliness, and organization
  • Ensure proper food handling, storage, rotation, and cost control
  • Communicate effectively with the kitchen team and front of house
  • Lead by example, promoting teamwork, professionalism, and Four Seasons service values
  • Support a safe and sanitary kitchen environment
  • Handle accidents or emergencies promptly and professionally
  • Uphold Four Seasons standards in guest service and team interactions
