About The Position

To ensure the quality and integrity of each batch of food.  Reports directly to the Batch Room Supervisor and is responsible for completing all duties and tasks assigned to them before their normal work shift ends.

Requirements

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• High School Diploma or GED (General Education Degree).

Nice To Haves

• Prefer relative experience within last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Completing all duties and tasks assigned before the end of the work shift.
• Learning procedures for all products and operating equipment in all four batching areas.
• Transporting pallets up to 2,500 pounds with proper equipment.
• Repetitively moving and lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Maintaining effective communication with team members.
• Maintaining productivity rates required throughout the department.
• Accurately weighing ingredients into industrial containers.
• Using appropriate tools and safety equipment safely and efficiently.
• Other duties as assigned.
