An entry level cook requires good communication and basic culinary skills. The desired cook candidate will have some cooking experience, An entry level cook should have some professional knowledge or understanding of cooking ingredients and procedures. Entry level cook will work in the prep kitchen, single stations in the kitchen and require significant supervision and training. As an entry level cook you will learn to maintain standards of quality, consistency, and cleanliness that define our culinary operation.

  • Preparing ingredients including washing, chopping, and measuring ingredients according to recipes and chefs' instructions.
  • Executing cooking and plating recipes under the supervision of senior cooks, ensuring consistency with restaurant standards and presentation guidelines.
  • Maintaining workstation: Keep your workstation clean, organized, and stocked throughout service adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Station set up. Contribute to daily mise en place by preparing sauces, dressings, and other ingredients essential for the menu.
  • Learning and improving skills. Continuously develop your cooking techniques and knowledge of fine dining cuisine by observing and working with senior cooks.
  • Ensuring food safety. Follow all food handling, sanitation, storage and rotation protocols to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety in the kitchen.
  • Handling equipment. Operate and maintain kitchen equipment properly, including knives, ovens, blender, and other tools to ensure efficiency and safety.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsor requirement

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
