About The Position

Tried and True Media (TNT) is a fully remote DTC performance marketing agency that specializes in video performance marketing within the health, wellness, and beauty sectors. Over the past five years, TNT has successfully generated over $1.2 billion in sales for its clients and currently manages an annual ad spend exceeding $120 million. As the company transitions from its founding CEO to a new Chief Operating Officer (COO), the goal is to drive a fivefold growth trajectory, ultimately positioning TNT as a platform company for a large private equity fund or strategic partner within three years. The new COO will initially share senior direct reports with the CEO and, upon demonstrating their ability to deliver results, will transition to the role of COO & President, taking full ownership of all operations and reporting structures. In this role, the COO will be responsible for achieving EBITDA and unit economic targets, as well as other growth objectives, while maintaining full P&L and balance sheet ownership. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of scaling a digital agency to revenues between $20 million and $100 million, managing teams of 100 to 300 employees. The position requires a blend of strategic thinking and executional rigor, with a focus on building a strong company culture that attracts and retains top talent. The COO will also need to ensure that financial growth is sustainable and that operational efficiencies are maintained or improved as the company scales. The culture at TNT is centered around being good humans who are obsessed with winning for clients, with the primary objective being to deliver growth targets in a sustainable and scalable manner. The company operates on a fully remote basis, with a global team of over 90 employees and no corporate office. The standard working hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. ET, and the compensation package includes a base salary ranging from $250,000 to $500,000, along with bonuses and incentive equity in the form of profit incentive units (PIUs) that crystallize upon a liquidation event.
