About The Position
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Operating water truck Plant inspections Plant start-up Maintain the quarry and help keep it organized. Properly follow company and MSHA safety procedures. Bring equipment/safety problems to the attention of the Foreman or Safety Director. Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment refer defects or needed repairs to supervisor, and clean equipment. Cleaning and preparing work sites. Digging/shoveling Performing basic maintenance on equipment May also be required to assist other workers with more specialized tasks as needed. QUALIFICATIONS: Must be able to follow safety procedures and work effectively in a high-pressure environment. Attention to detail. The ability to work well in a team. Strong communication skills. Strong understanding of safety protocols Ability to follow company policies and work cooperatively with others. Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: A high school diploma or equivalent; Previous MSHA training is a plus.
