About The Position

Pratt Industries is seeking a Converting Supervisor to join our team. As America's 4th largest corrugated packaging company and the world's largest privately-held producer of 100% recycled containerboard, we are dedicated to sustainability and the environment. The Converting Supervisor will oversee a team of 12-30 employees in the production of quality corrugated products, ensuring safety and efficiency while minimizing waste. This position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to communicate effectively with staff and management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years prior supervisory experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.

Nice To Haves

• Prior work experience in the corrugated industry.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production of quality corrugated products.
• Maintain quality, efficiencies, and production levels set by management.
• Communicate quality standards to staff and report concerns to management.
• Establish high morale within the department by showing fairness and consistency.
• Maintain inventories of sheets, inks, and other supplies.
• Coordinate with maintenance for repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Conduct weekly Production/Safety meetings.
• Improve career skills through seminars and courses.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
