The Machine Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, troubleshooting and maintaining machinery in a safe and efficient manner while ensuring product adheres to our quality standards.

Requirements

Proven experience as a machine operator or in a similar role.
Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and safety protocols.
Basic math and computer skills.
Mechanical aptitude, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to quality and safety.

Nice To Haves

High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
5+ years of manufacturing work experience.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate machinery according to production specifications and safety standards
Perform machine startup, shut down and basic troubleshooting.
Monitor machine operations to ensure consistent quality and productivity.
Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance of machines.
Adjust machine settings as needed to optimize performance.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.
Operating electric pallet jack, roll lifts and hoists.
Document production output, machine settings, and any issues encountered.
Performs quality checks per Pregis Quality Management System.
Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards
Perform other duties as assigned.
