Plus, shift differential for night shift Train on Days-Monday to Friday 6:00am to 2:00pm. Requirements

  • Regular communication with Shift Supervisors.
  • Regular communication with Co-Workers.
  • Frequent contact with other departments.
  • Education – High School diploma or GED
  • Training – On the job, with qualified associates
  • Experience – On the job
  • Some physical effort required – may be high duration and low-intensity or moderate duration and intensity.
  • 8-hour shifts-frequent standing and walking.
  • Occasional sitting, bending, crouching, kneeling, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and reaching.
  • Able to lift 50+ pounds.
  • Must be proficient in English- speak, write, read, and comprehend.
  • Must be able to communicate in an effect and respectful manner.
  • Ability to read, write and understand directions and follow a manufacturing order.
  • Basic understanding of the imperial and metric measuring system.
  • Works effectively with other associates, promoting a team environment.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

  • Run the machines efficiently, with very high quality and low waste.
  • Assure quality checks/lists, production reports, and any other necessary documents are properly filled out.
  • Ensures materials and machines are prepared for next order/ next shift in a timely manner.
  • Catching bags on all machines.
  • Packing boxes, learning packing patterns.
  • Assist with waste disposal.
  • Read work orders.
  • Assist and support Operator with set-up.
  • Reporting any damage to equipment to the Production Manager or Shift Supervisor as soon as it occurs.
  • Keeping waste at a minimum.
  • Communicating all necessary information of importance to the Operator on the next shift.
  • Complete training as required.
  • Perform other duties assigned or requested by Shift Supervisors.
