About The Position

The CRO Manager will be responsible for conceptualizing, testing, and implementing improvements to conversion actions within our marketing funnels. They have a strong understanding and hands-on experience with A/B testing and website analytics. The CRO Manager develops strategies & tactics that help drive performance and insights for our web properties. This is a full time in-office role in Walnut Creek, CA

Requirements

  • 3+ years working on conversion rate optimization, testing and personalization programs for consumer websites
  • Track record of achieving statistically significant lift via conversion rate optimization
  • Demonstrated ability to envision the future state, test hypotheses, and synthesize facts and insights into concrete, actionable strategies and tactical plans
  • Highly organized and autonomous, but also collaborative and able to work cross-functionally
  • Exceptional problem solving and quantitative skills, and ability to concisely communicate data, context, and implications
  • Experience with audience segmentation for testing purposes
  • Positive outlook, fun, flexible, and creative
  • Hardworking, persistent, and dependable
  • BA/BS in relevant field required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with A/B testing landing pages is a plus.
  • Experience with VWO is a huge plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in propelling data-driven web optimization strategies for all of our web properties for marketing/conversion effectiveness.
  • Contribute to creating compelling user experiences delivering high-converting landing pages for various traffic sources through our conversion funnels.
  • Support end-to-end A/B test execution, including setup and QA within experimentation platforms (VWO experience preferred).
  • Collaborate with the engineering and design team to deliver flawless ab tests and ensure they are up to date.
  • Follow testing roadmap and contribute to improved user experiences that remove barriers to conversion across the web user journey.
  • Utilize digital marketing knowledge to understand ROAS from different Campaigns/AdGroups/Keywords and optimize the user experience by creating/refining custom landing pages or provide suggestions for improvement to the SEM team.
  • Assist in firefighting and identifying bugs before testing to ensure bug free experience.
  • Experience in qualitative and quantitative research tools to derive meaningful observations for ideation.
  • Employ UX best practices across websites and landing page flows to create a unified user experience, leading with content-first design.
  • Partner with the marketing team to write crisp, high-quality, on-brand copy for campaigns, products, and services.
