Requirements

  • Willingness to learn new tasks, cross-train, rotate and work as a part of a team.
  • Ability to serve as a back-up for other team members to cover absenteeism, vacations and mandatory rotations of responsibility.
  • Willingness to work overtime as required depending on business need.
  • Strong understanding of various operations and their capacities.
  • Strong analytical skills to aid in problem solving.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Previous manufacturing experience required.
  • Ability to read (or be trained to read) and understand Bills of Material, drawings and measuring tools.
  • Possess the knowledge and skill (or be trained) to operate all required machines, including but not limited to screw guns, foam machines, press/stamp machines, hoists, etc.
  • Forklift experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Completing material conversions per schedule and as needs arise to meet customer demand.
  • Completing daily rebuild(s), repair(s), and recrate finished goods as needed.
  • Tracking material consumption at daily, weekly, and monthly level.
  • Creating and posting production orders.
  • BOM comparisons.
  • Completing material movements.
  • Issuing Goods to appropriate cost center.
  • Supporting all other shipping distribution center functions.
  • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and organized condition and follow prescribed safety and quality rules, procedures and requirements.
  • Report problems with safety, quality, processes, equipment and materials to production lead or supervisor.
  • Perform other duties and operate machinery as assigned by Supervisor/Team Leader.
