The Role Implementation is a fast paced and ever evolving organization. As a Conversion Analyst, you will be responsible for the financial and participant data conversions of complex defined contribution plans transitioning to Fidelity. You will gain experience working with internal and external parties while increasing your technical, client management, and data manipulation skills. The Conversion Analyst (CA) is a member of the Defined Contribution (DC) Implementation team within the Conversion Services group. You will be responsible for the asset and data conversions of our new or existing clients. This includes working with external and internal groups to ensure that conversion strategies are correctly interpreted, processed, and audited. The ability of the analyst to identify and resolve challenges in a timely and accurate manner directly impacts the success of the conversion and minimizes financial and business risk to Fidelity. Leading multiple medium to large sized plan implementations and corporate actions as they progress through the conversion process Consulting with clients and record keepers as a key business partner to translate data requirements into technical data exchange rules Coordinating with multiple internal and external groups to ensure conversion data is received and updated per agreed upon deadlines Reconciling conversion data and identifying corrective actions for variances discovered Provide technical expertise for conversion data to internal and external partners Partner with team members and business partners to continuously reevaluate our process and procedures so we can improve our product

  • Leading multiple medium to large sized plan implementations and corporate actions as they progress through the conversion process
  • Consulting with clients and record keepers as a key business partner to translate data requirements into technical data exchange rules
  • Coordinating with multiple internal and external groups to ensure conversion data is received and updated per agreed upon deadlines
  • Reconciling conversion data and identifying corrective actions for variances discovered
  • Provide technical expertise for conversion data to internal and external partners
  • Partner with team members and business partners to continuously reevaluate our process and procedures so we can improve our product
  • Bachelors or equivalent years' experience with 2+ years’ experience in implementations and/or 401(k) operations
  • Consistent track record over several years, in understanding data requirements and applying them to business scenarios
  • Finance/ Accounting Education or Experience
  • Experience interacting with external clients and internal business partners
  • Demonstrated organizational and project management skills
  • You possess strong data analytical skills
  • You display excellent active listening skills to understand business needs, prioritize features, and accurately translate those into technical requirements
  • You are adept at time management for competing deliverables and tactical decision making
  • You have established technical and business communication skills, with the ability to explain complex scenarios and build consensus with internal and external partners.
  • You have experience with Fidelity’s DC recordkeeping platform and plan data requirements
  • You are self-driven, ambitious, and motivated with the ability to work independently to deliver results
