About The Position

The Convention Services Setup team is responsible for the setting up and tearing down of tables, chairs, decorations, and equipment for meetings, banquets or resort activities. Basic audio visual skills are helpful. Requirements

You have previous experience successfully working with a team, strong communication skills and excellent attention for details
You are able to frequently stand; walk; lift and or move 25 pounds; frequently lift and or move 50 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds
You are interested in being a part of a team focused on success
Avaliable to work May through October

Responsibilities

Setting up of meeting and banquet needs (tables, chairs, linen, etc.)
Ensuring cleanliness and superior condition of all meeting and banquet rooms, including windows, baseboards, etc.
Ensuring cleanliness of loading dock, and surrounding Civic Center area, including Village Lane, and stairway area to tunnel
Reporting and following up on all maintenance issues in meeting rooms and surrounding areas, such as light-bulbs and ceiling tiles, etc
Setting up movie nights and other events as assigned
