Responsible for setting up all function rooms according to specifications on convention/group resumes and banquet event order function sheets. Ensures tablecloths set for meeting functions are acceptable. Maintains an adequate supply of ice, glasses, etc. at meeting functions. Breaks down room and removes equipment or supplies to the appropriate storage facility. Provides prompt service for removal of used glasses at meeting functions. Maintains proper storage of meeting and banquet equipment. Reports any discrepancies or repairs to the Lead Convention Houseperson. Maintains all function rooms and storage areas in a clean, orderly fashion; including all walls, rugs, brass, tables, chairs, speaker platforms and other equipment used for banquet functions. Operates motorized vehicles, e.g. electric pallet jack, electric forklift.
