About The Position

As a Convention-Banquet Assistant Chef at Vdara, you will ensure the highest quality and proper presentation of food for events, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. Requirements

  • Is 21+ years of age
  • 2+ Years of Prior relevant experience in a high-volume setting
  • Has a High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

  • Maintain quality and proper presentation of food
  • Drive the customer relation management system by ensuring that all such orders are handled correctly
  • Communicate with chefs, management, employees and guest efficiently with proper reporting, and meetings
  • Schedule and maintain the budgeted labor costs as well as potential food cost
  • Understand and utilize Stratton Warren system properly for purchasing, release orders and cost transfers
