About The Position

Receives, collects, and processes refuse and recyclable materials at a designated convenience site. This position supports daily site operations by assisting customers, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring refuse and recycling materials are properly handled and disposed of.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Zero to four years of relevant experience
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely
• Ability to perform physical labor in an outdoor environment
• Dependable and able to work independently or as part of a team

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or GED with additional or specialized training
• Zero to four years of related experience

Responsibilities

• Collect containers from convenience site customers and dispose of refuse into appropriate bins
• Collect separated recycling materials and place them into designated recycling containers
• Assist with loading, unloading, and cleaning of garbage trucks at the convenience site as required
• Operate hoisting equipment to raise refuse bins attached to the rear of the truck when necessary
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the convenience site
• Perform other duties as assigned to support site operations
