About The Position

The Convenience Sales Rep will be responsible for managing an estimated 300 store territory to ensure flawless execution of business KPIs. This involves delivering against Perfect Store Execution Standards by expanding distribution, executing shelving principles, activating promotions and secondary displays, and adhering to revenue growth management principles. This is an in-market, field position, with 70% of time allocated to in-store selling and 30% to drive time. Key aspects of the role include business delivery against quarterly sales objectives, effective territory management using Salesforce, monitoring sales performance through KPI tracking and data analysis, building strong customer relationships, and providing market insights to optimize sales approaches.

Requirements

  • All applicants must be at least 18 years of age
  • have a valid driver's license

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Successful completion of drug test, MVR check, and general background check

Nice To Haves

  • College degree preferred
  • Previous grocery, retail, sales, and/or customer service experience is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with diverse customers.
  • Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver against quarterly sales objectives through the execution of perfect store principles.
  • Record all weekly activity and key customer intel in Salesforce.
  • Assess viability of current store route list and provide timely feedback to supervisor for necessary adjustments.
  • Track store and account level KPIs.
  • Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and growth opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with store owners and key customers to drive partnership.
  • Leverage selling, negotiation, problem solving, and interpersonal skills to anticipate needs and overcome objections.
  • Provide a high level of customer service and business solutions.
  • Stay informed about market trends and competitor activities, sharing insights with the team to optimize sales approaches.
