About The Position

Convenience Foods Supervisor The Convenience Foods Supervisor provides direct supervision to staff and students assigned to The Hut, Papa Johns, and Concessions. The Supervisor oversees all food and beverage production, customer service, safety and sanitation, and department reporting. Oversee Production Train staff and students in food and beverage production for the Hut, Papa Johns, and Concessions orders. Schedule and plan to most efficiently serve orders through counter sales. Oversee building closing as needed. Develop new food and beverage products for temporary and permanent menu items. Provide Outstanding Customer Service Maintain excellent standards by ensuring that food and beverage products are served as fresh as possible with the best presentation. Exceed customer expectations for product quality. Ensure that menu items are stocked and available at all times. Oversee all kitchen and dining areas, ensuring that facilities are clean, presentable, and in good working order. Ensure Safety and Sanitation Confirm that all food and beverage preparation meets or exceeds industry standards for safety and sanitation through training, oversight, and follow-up. Provide a clean and safe environment for both employees and customers. Maintain Reporting, Feedback, and Profitability Provide information for constant improvement by using all applicable forms to report food usage, maintenance needs, and recipe improvements. Assist with maintaining employee discipline records, compiling performance evaluations, and encouraging teamwork culture. Maintain high standards for fast service times and proactively plan for increases in sales. Ensures that labor and food costs are kept low to assist with profitability.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift 20+ pounds
  • Basic Math
  • Capable of standing and walking for long periods of time
  • Lift, bend, stretch, push, or pull as needed

  • Education Required Education: HS
  • Work Experience Required Experience: 3+ years in high-volume food prep management

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred Education: College Degree - Hospitality
  • Preferred Experience: 5+ years in restaurant management
