Requirements

  • Certificate or Associate’s degree in Industrial Controls or related field
  • PLC programming experience, with a focus on Allen-Bradley or Siemens
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics, power circuits, and motor starter controls

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of Industrial Controls experience

Responsibilities

  • Reading electrical schematics, troubleshooting motor starter controls, power circuits, and programming and troubleshooting variable frequency drives.
  • Calibrating level sensors, temperature controllers, pressure transmitters, and speed sensors.
  • Troubleshooting and performing basic changes to PLC systems and logic, input and output controls, and safety circuits.
  • Communicating with manufacturers and/or distribution reps when troubleshooting problems.
  • Supporting Maintenance personal as needed to troubleshoot controls related issues.
  • Working overtime and weekends as dictated by Production needs and/or repair needs that require downtime.
