Requirements

  • Frequent standing, walking, and lifting
  • Physically fit and able to lift 50 pounds
  • Must stand 8+ hours a day
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or Technical Apprenticeship with Certification or Journeyman Card; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of automated manufacturing technical experience required
  • Experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs, Fanuc and Kuka Robotics

Responsibilities

  • Support Manufacturing Engineering in the development of standards and specifications, including a complete purchase parts list related to controls systems.
  • Plan and implement improvements within Assembly related to the specific controls systems.
  • Participate in cross-functional project teams supporting activities related to controls issues.
  • Provide technical support for controls systems during the introduction of new models.
  • Ensure proper controls specific documentation delivery form the Original Equipment Manufacturer.
  • Provide technical support to Assembly for resolving controls related issues.
  • Support the Assembly Department Technical Training and Development program by conducting training classes, providing technical documentation, etc.
  • Supervise the assembly and installation as well as assemble and installs new equipment and is able to make modifications to existing equipment as requested.
  • Perform other duties as required.
