Preferred Qualifications Controls Technician I, II, III and IV: Associate’s degree in electrical technology, other related field of study, participation or completion in an apprenticeship program, and/or equivalent experience, and/or 6 or more months experience certifying and/or decontamination of biosafety cabinets and/or proficiency in Microsoft Office products are preferred. A Journeyman Electrician license and/or Type I, II, III or Universal EPA refrigeration license are desired. Controls Technician I: In addition to the preferred qualifications above, a level I is preferred to have 6 or more months experience performing room balancing and commissioning, installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical and low voltage systems, and/or Building Automation Systems front end and/or back end programming experience. Familiar with an EMCS and/or CMMS , proficiency in Microsoft Office products and/or knowledge of or experience with building, electrical, and fire codes is preferred. Controls Technician II: In conjunction with the preferred qualifications above, a level II is preferred to have at least 1 year experience installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical and low voltage systems and/or 1 year experience of Building Automation Systems front end and/or back-end programming. Controls Technician III : In conjunction with the preferred qualifications above, a level III is preferred to have at least 1 year experience installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical and low voltage systems and/or 1 year experience of Building Automation Systems front end and/or back-end programming. Controls Technician IV: In conjunction with the preferred qualifications above, a level IV is preferred to have at least 2 years experience installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical and low voltage systems and/or at least 4 years experience of Building Automation Systems front end and/or back end programming.
