About The Position

The Controls Technician - Field position in Shreveport, LA involves maintaining and repairing electronic instrumentation and equipment to ensure reliable service quality. The technician will perform preventative maintenance, conduct quality checks, and repair equipment in a timely manner. Responsibilities

• Ensures proper start-up of all software and communications with all equipment.
• Visually inspects all cables.
• Communicates with frac supervisor prior to start-up.
• Attends to all equipment by walking around visually inspecting operation.
• Communicates any deficiencies to frac supervisor.
• Performs repairs to equipment.
• Ensures proper LOTO procedures are followed.
• Walks site to ensure that all equipment is properly shut-down and turned off.
• Assists in housekeeping before leaving location.
