The Controls Systems Architect is responsible for developing, standardizing, and advancing Heatcraft’s control system technologies to ensure performance, reliability, and consistency across products. This role involves developing and documenting control algorithms to improve system performance, reliability, and diagnostics, defining engineering specifications, and contributing to the standardization of control system platforms. The architect will coordinate electronics and software design projects with internal teams and external partners, ensuring requirements, documentation, milestones, and schedules are met. Additionally, the role includes overseeing supplier hardware and firmware designs, leading feasibility studies, modeling, analysis, verification & validation, and system integration. The architect will also develop sequence of operation and P&ID, create wiring diagrams and control schematics, provide technical support to regional engineers, conduct field testing, analyze results, and validate system performance, and support product release through Stage-Gate processes.
