The position involves performing assigned system commissioning using Johnson Controls configuration and commissioning tools. The role includes troubleshooting and resolving basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and controls problems, as well as responding to basic warranty calls. The individual will load system-level controller software and perform more complex commissioning and system diagnostics from system-level controllers to end devices (i.e., sensors, actuators, etc.), completing all required commissioning documentation. Keeping management and JCI contractor or customer informed of job progress and issues is essential. The role also requires calibrating systems using basic electronic test equipment and completing administrative tasks such as time sheets, expense reports, and on-site documentation. The individual will document changes and provide information for as-built documentation, communicate with the JCI contractor or customer upon arrival and before leaving the work site, and follow all safety standards while attending required safety training. A high degree of regard for employee and subcontractor safety is expected.
