Qualified candidates will have extensive knowledge of electrical systems, industrial controls or technical support of electric vehicles and be able to effectively utilize a comprehensive suite of computer software/tools to accurately diagnose vehicle related issues. The Controls System Technician will have the goal of resolving complex technical issues on zero emission vehicles in a timely manner. Working regularly with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Product Engineering and Customer Care, as they are trusted to provide detailed information necessary to determine root cause and corrective actions as well as assist in the development of instructions for repetitive repairs. The Controls System Technician for zero emission vehicles will report directly to GILLIG’s Director of Manufacturing Engineer /Facilities. All candidates must have a passion for problem solving, be willing to continuously learn new troubleshooting and diagnostic technologies and have a strong knowledge of electrical systems, industrial controls, or electric vehicles.
