The Stellantis Vehicle and Propulsion Controls organization (PVPC) is the “brain” of the Propulsion Systems division aimed at translating Performance and Functional Objectives into Controls features implemented in the embedded SW. The PVPC organization scope spans the V development cycle with the following core missions: translate system specifications and objectives into requirements  distribute control functions and networking strategies  implement core functions and diagnostics algorithm design  validate the functions to requirements Within PVPC Organization the Controls Management Team acts as the main interface to the individual vehicle programs ensuring that its needs are met. As a result of significant challenges embraced by Stellantis to become the leader of the new era of mobility, we are currently looking to recruit a talented and ambitious Controls Manager based in the United States. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the global planning, execution and program coordination of the Controls and SW platform solution for Engine or Hybrid Electronic Control Units. Being a Controls Manager will mean to have daily challenges but also great satisfactions. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of engineering experience (of which at least 5 years in automotive)
  • As you will be working on Complex Systems, it is essential the successful candidate can show a proven record of working on his/her own initiative and within a team delivering high quality and robust technical solutions
  • Ability to work in an Agile environment
  • Be proactive, take ownership and be accountable

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience as Controls/SW developer, testing or calibration engineer will be considered a plus
  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Providing Feasibility and cost assessment for Controls & SW to the vehicle/programs.
  • Representing the Controls System (Controllers and SW) vs the Propulsion System Community as primary interface.
  • Coordinating Controls Features development.
  • Defining Feature Roll-out Plan (What and When) that aligns to over all program milestones and objectives.
  • Playing a key role in the Controls & SW change Management, Quality assessment and Risk mitigation.
