About The Position

The position involves acting as the on-site project leader to plan, execute, and complete control systems projects with assigned customers. Responsibilities include hardware design, system programming, installation coordination, system and network commissioning, and project closeout. The role requires maintaining an effective balance between customer satisfaction and project financial results, actively pursuing selling change orders, and ensuring proper execution of warranty.

Requirements

  • Technical Associates Degree with three years of field experience or five years of equivalent related field experience in the building automation industry.
  • Experience managing projects.
  • Ability to communicate technical material to a non-technical audience.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform work independently.
  • Strong computer skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the HVAC industry, programming controls.
  • Five plus years of Project Management experience.
  • Knowledge of project accounting and costing principles.
  • Relevant technical hands-on experience in systems design and commissioning of digital HVAC controls systems.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as the on-site project leader to plan, execute, and complete control systems projects.
  • Performs or delegates tasks required to execute and complete assigned projects.
  • Responsible for overall financial results of assigned projects including costs, project billings, and collections.
  • Coordinates communication with the customer during all phases of the project.
  • Provides work direction to subcontractors, electrical installers, technicians, designers, and administration.
  • Ensures compliance with state, local, and Federal legal requirements.
  • Adheres to safety policies and ensures subcontractors do the same.
