About The Position

The position involves acting as the on-site project leader to plan, execute, and complete projects with assigned customers in a safe and cost-effective manner. Responsibilities include hardware design, system programming, installation coordination, system and network commissioning, and project closeout. The role also requires maintaining customer satisfaction and profitable project financial results, while ensuring compliance with safety standards and legal requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a technical associate's degree with two years of field experience or four years of equivalent related field experience for LSS I.
  • Applicable Access Control, Fire, Video, and/or systems design and commissioning experience.
  • Appropriate licensing, certifications, and relevant hands-on experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform work independently.
  • Strong personal computer skills.
  • Knowledge of project accounting, costing principles, and contracting preferred for LSS II.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as the on-site project leader to plan, execute, and complete projects.
  • Performs or delegates tasks required to execute and complete assigned projects.
  • Responsible for overall financial results of assigned projects including costs, billings, and collections.
  • Coordinates communication with the customer during all phases of the project.
  • Ensures proper execution of warranty.
  • Provides work direction to subcontractors, electrical installers, technicians, designers, and administration.
  • Ensures compliance with safety standards and legal requirements.
  • Manages the selection, ordering, budget, and delivery schedule of materials.
  • Oversees subcontractor payment and billing processes.
  • Provides job site coordination for panel and field device physical locations.
  • Validates complete system functionality and resolves issues.
  • Provides accurate project as-built and commissioning documentation.
  • Completes project billings in a timely and accurate format.
  • Develops project plans and coordinates required resources.
  • Performs site-specific training for owner/operator on the total system.
  • Develops and maintains long-term relationships with contractors, clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
