Requirements

  • Minimum of a technical Associates Degree with two years of field experience or four years of equivalent related field experience in the HVAC industry.
  • Relevant technical hands-on experience in systems design and commissioning of digital HVAC controls systems.
  • Ability to communicate technical material to a non-technical audience.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform work independently.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong personal computer skills.
  • Knowledge of control theory and HVAC systems.
  • Knowledge of project accounting, costing principles, and contracting.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as the on-site project leader to plan, implement, and complete control systems projects.
  • Performs or delegates tasks required to complete assigned projects including hardware design, system programming, installation coordination, and project closeout.
  • Responsible for the overall financial results of assigned projects including costs, project billings, and collections.
  • Coordinates communication with the customer during all phases of the project.
  • Ensures proper execution of warranty and provides work direction to subcontractors and technicians.
  • Completes installation hardware design and software programming using established standards.
  • Manages the selection, ordering, budget, and delivery schedule of materials for projects.
  • Oversees subcontractor payment and billing processes.
  • Provides jobsite coordination for panel and field device physical locations.
  • Ensures installation is in accordance with project requirements.
  • Manages costs, billings, and collections, maintaining profitability goals.
  • Provides coaching, mentoring, and technical assistance to team members.
  • Develops project plans and coordinates resources for timely and cost-effective installation.
  • Performs site-specific training for owner/operator on the total system.
