Job Responsibilities: Position Overview Controls Engineer Intern for industrial automation. The successful candidate will work under the direction of an experienced engineer in the design, specification, programming, simulation, and testing, of turbomachinery control and electrical systems Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Control system design and programming o Control panel design o Development of Bill of Material (BOM) o PLC programming o HMI programming o Communication network design o System documentation and manual creation Documentation and testing new software applications Assessment of new application ideas

Requirements

  • Some related experience preferred
  • Excellent analytical and math skills
  • A collaborative team player who plays well with others, interdepartmentally and cross functionally to achieve company goals
  • A strategic thinker who enjoys innovation and problem solving and goes above and beyond to identify root causes
  • Pursuing bachelor’s degree in an Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics engineering curriculum
  • High School Diploma
  • General knowledge of assembly
  • Proficient Computer knowledge and skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Professional Communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Normal amount of sitting or standing, average mobility to move around an office environment, able to conduct normal amount of work at a computer.
