About The Position

The Controls Installer is responsible for installing DDC systems by following contract documents and utilizing proper installation methods. This role involves a variety of essential duties including the installation of DDC systems and components, completing commissioning projects, and maintaining project documentation. The installer will also communicate project information effectively and contribute to team efforts while maintaining industry technical knowledge.

Requirements

• Experience in installing DDC systems and components.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong communication skills to update project managers and technicians.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical installation methods.
• Ability to maintain accurate project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Installs DDC systems and components by prioritizing areas of completion and enforcing proper installation methods.
• Completes commissioning projects by organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling start-up assignments.
• Communicates project information by updating Project Managers and Controls Technicians on construction progress.
• Achieves financial objectives by cooperating with Ops management team in reviewing monthly job labor cost reports.
• Maintains industry technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing industry publications.
• Maintains project documentation by updating as-built drawings and collaborating with Project Managers.
• Contributes to team effort by leading by example and assisting in the training of new employees.
• Willingness and ability to travel to meet the needs of high-profile customers.
