Position Summary We are seeking a Controls Field Engineer to join our team in Mount Pleasant, WI. In this role, you will configure and develop application-specific control systems primarily at customer sites, while supporting the design, analysis, and maintenance of control systems for existing products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Software, or Computer Engineering, or equivalent with 10+ years of related experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Basic experience with editors, compilers, revision control software, and PLM/PDM systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of embedded systems and programming languages (C, VB.NET, C#).
  • Understanding of mechanical and hydraulic systems.
  • Familiarity with data acquisition equipment and CAN communications (SAE J1939).
  • Valid passport required.

Responsibilities

  • Configure control systems across electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic applications.
  • Assist in writing documentation including design specifications and test plans.
  • Evaluate hardware/software deviation requests and recommend improvements.
  • Draft product modifications and write BOMs.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and introduce new technologies.
  • Provide product support for Production and Product Service.
  • Test software/hardware and write associated reports.
  • Maintain professional development through training and publications.
