About The Position

We do this by providing the right equipment for the right application, setting it up to maximize both comfort and efficiency, making sure everything is operating the way it’s supposed to, and servicing all major HVAC equipment and controls. We are looking for a reliable person to add to our Controls Engineering team to help generate control drawings and submittal packages. Responsibilities include drafting, engineering, submittals, and closeout documents.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 years’ experience in drafting (ACAD).
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in HVAC controls.
• Proficient in operating a computer and understanding of Excel and Adobe.
• Ability to plan and see the “big picture”.
• Ability to work long or extended hours to complete task.
• Ability to work with others.
• Ability to discuss issues and come up with solutions.
• Professional image in personal appearance and behavior
• Ability to prioritize work and organize tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Mature judgment.
• Attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn the Siemens Tools required for the job: Design Tool, Commissioning Tool, ABT Site, LaunchPad, etc.

Nice To Haves

• HVAC knowledge is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Generate control drawings using Siemens Design Tool (ACAD)
• Package, send out and track Submittals.
• Package and send out Closeout Documents.
• Coordinate with various contracting tiers to acquire information and complete task at hand.
• Other duties as assigned.
