Succession planning, resource management, and lead the mentorship program including mentoring young engineers. You will report to the GOS Manager; Controls and Information System Engineering and be located at our Warrendale, PA facility. This is a hybrid role based in Warrendale. No relocation assistance will be provided.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • Ability to travel as projects require (up to 10% for peak times)
  • Cognizance in at least one of the following technical areas: o Integrated systems Engineering o Control Systems and Setpoints o Nuclear Steam Supply Systems o Protection and Safety Monitoring System o Product Development – hardware and software o Independent Verification & Validation including Test Engineering
  • Command of responsible subject matter as well as the product application life cycle and design process for the assigned subject matter area.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and drive the schedule and cost associated with Projects
  • Drive an accurate demand signal to the departments and work with Project Managers to resource load the schedule
  • Mentor new engineers
  • Manage risks/challenges within all project areas (Software/Hardware/Functional system design/testing of final systems)
  • Troubleshoot technical challenges and develop recovery plans
  • Lead contact for Functional Area Leads, and Project Managers
  • Support the Resource Managers, Project Manager and Technical Lead.
