The Controls Engineer will execute and support the design, test, manufacture, and commissioning of low and medium voltage switchgear that controls multiple generators which parallel to one or more utility sources. This role involves providing direction to CAD designers to create wiring and assembly drawings for generator paralleling switchgear controls, interacting with internal and external customers to accomplish project milestones, creating bill of materials for generator paralleling switchgear controls in the ERP system, and creating PLC programs for control of generator paralleling switchgear. The engineer will execute multiple projects simultaneously and work alongside a team of 5-8 engineers, reporting to the Engineering Manager.
