About The Position

Talent Hive is in search of a Senior Controls Engineer proficient in deploying automation solutions using PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) platforms. Key Responsibilities: Project Execution: - Identify, prioritize, and schedule tasks with personal responsibility to meet commitments. - Proactively identify and resolve issues and conflicts. - Collaborate under the guidance of experienced engineers. - Implement continuous improvement strategies for project execution efficiency. - Maintain direct communication and interaction with clients. - Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and codes. Technical Documentation and Design: - Develop project definitions, requirements, and status reports. - Create process control sequences, standard procedures, and scope of supply documentation. - Support hardware engineering and systems design activities. - Assist with factory/site acceptance testing, user training, and acceptance testing. - Program control logic, construct graphics, configure databases, etc. - Interpret and update documents, drawings, and specifications related to automation projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline (preferably Electrical, Chemical, Controls, or Computer Engineering).
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in process control, manufacturing, or information services.
  • Experience with PLC, DCS, and/or SCADA/HMI design, development, and deployment.
  • Strong leadership, client relations, and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word; SharePoint experience is beneficial.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid drivers license and willingness to travel up to 25%.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge in diverse processes such as Oil & Gas, Chemicals, etc.
  • Experience with Honeywell DCS programming (Experion PKS/LX/HS a plus) and Allen Bradley ControlLogix programming (PlantPAx a plus).
  • Familiarity with SCADA/HMI systems (ICONICS or Wonderware a plus).
  • Experience in checkout, testing, startup, and commissioning.
