Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field

Nice To Haves

  • 3–7 years of experience in industrial automation or controls engineering preferred
  • Experience with PLC programming (Rockwell Automation, Siemens, or similar platforms)
  • Proficiency in HMI/SCADA development (FactoryTalk, Ignition, Wonderware, etc.)
  • Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (EtherNet/IP, Modbus, Profibus, OPC, etc.)
  • Familiarity with robotics integration, motion control, or distributed control systems (DCS) is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain industrial control systems including PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and industrial networks.
  • Create and modify PLC logic (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Schneider, etc.) to meet operational requirements
  • Develop and implement HMI interfaces and operator displays for monitoring and control
  • Specify and configure industrial sensors, actuators, and instrumentation
  • Develop electrical schematics and documentation using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN)
  • Support commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization of control systems on new and existing equipment
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards (NFPA 79, UL, IEC, OSHA, etc.) and company policies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support process improvements and automation upgrades
  • Provide technical support and training to maintenance and operations teams
  • Maintain system backups, revision control, and documentation for all control program
