Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related engineering or equivalent work experience required.
  • Experience with programming automated manufacturing equipment. Allen Bradley HMI and PLC Programming experience is desirable.
  • Ability to read electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic prints and schematics.
  • Effective problem solving, judgement, and independent thinking skills for troubleshooting, repair, and recognition of acceptable or unacceptable product quality.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Design, Develop, Troubleshoot, and Deploy: Design, develop, troubleshoot, and deploy automation controls and electrical controls hardware and software. Work as part of an execution team and assume complete responsibility for system updates or new system control functions from start to finish of the project.
  • Write Code to Control Automated Equipment: Architect, develop, test, and deploy, a reusable, modular software solution that involves using a structured software development process with version management.
  • Support Field Installation: Support field installation, startup, and debug of systems at Husco and customer sites. Train and communicate automated machine functionality to end users.
