Tesla is seeking a night shift Controls Engineer for the Powertrain Maintenance Engineering team to be part of a world-class team of engineers that are responsible for maintaining and sustaining the automated equipment across the Powertrain productions lines. This includes providing support activities such as troubleshooting, equipment recoveries, debugging and safety, quality and production availability improvements. Controls Engineers owns maintaining KPI’s of safety, availability, OEE and of the manufacturing equipment by analyzing data to drive improvements. The key objective of the Powertrain Maintenance Engineering team is to maintain, sustain and improve the manufacturing process and help Tesla achieve its ambitious manufacturing goals. All these automated manufacturing processes are located at our Tesla facilities located in Fremont, CA.
