To build on this team, we are searching for a Controls Engineer. This role requires collaboration within a project team to design and program controls systems per project specifications.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent technical experience
Familiar with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and other program/design systems including HMI, PLC, robots, motion control, pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Work as part of a team or independently with direction from Lead Controls Engineer or Manager
Demonstrated skill in machine de-bug
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Effective customer service skills
Travel minimum 20% may be required domestically and internationally

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and document controls systems for various types of automated equipment
Generate and verify configuration data for machines
Utilize AutoCAD to produce electrical layouts and schematic drawings
Coordinate machine de-bug, power up, and validation with project team members
Ensure equipment design and program meet internal and external specifications
Collaborate cross-functionally with all departments during various project phases
Communicate with all departments on project progress and status
Document and communicate machine changes and issues
