This Position reports to: Engineering Manager The work model for the role is: Onsite This role is contributing to the Robotics, Industries BL Electronics in Auburn Hills, MI US.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in industrial automation or electrical control systems.
  • Desire to work with Automation and control systems in the Electronics market.
  • Proficient in electrical schematic design.
  • Willingness to travel for up to 50% as required.
  • Demonstrates flexibility and openness to working in diverse, multicultural environments

Responsibilities

  • Electrical system design: Design overall architecture of electrical control systems, and develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and BOM.
  • PLC-Based Control Development: Develop and debug PLC programs, and design control logic, motion control, and communication protocols.
  • PC-Based Control Systems: Develop PC-based control software, and implement real-time data acquisition and control.
  • HMI & Supervisory Systems: Design and develop HMI interfaces, and configure SCADA systems.
  • Commissioning & Support: Participate in on-site installation and commissioning, and troubleshoot and provide technical support.
