A Controls Engineer position supporting gas turbine engine testing is available at Belcan with one of our high profile clints onsite at Stennis facility in southwest Mississippi. This is a full time, direct job with full benefits. Great matching candidates will have a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Computer Engineering or computer science. Other related disciplines may be considered depending on experience. You will be a key team member supporting an exciting engine development program in test. You will be the controls representative of a multifunctional team supporting developmental engine test. If you are in and around the southern Mississippi/Louisiana or willing to relocate for to the area, this may be a great opportunity for you. Planned start date: January 2026 Job duties: Primary and secondary role: The primary role will be working with the multifunctional team planning and executing engine test directives. The multifunctional team includes Test Engineer Lead, Performance, Dynamics and operators. You will be required to monitor the control system to ensure safe operation. This may also include performing software adjustments as required. If anomalies occur you will need to help diagnose the root cause and help provide a solution to continue testing. The secondary role will be to support Systems Verification remotely when engine test is not occurring. You will work with team members based in Indianapolis, Indiana on creating and executing test procedures remotely on a test rig. Onsite training will be provided.
