Brewer Science, Inc. is a major innovator of high-technology solutions for the semiconductor / microelectronics markets. We are currently seeking a purpose-driven candidate with an ownership mentality to fill an open position as a Fall 2025 Controls Engineer Intern (part-time, 15-20 hours per week). This position will be in Rolla, MO. As a Controls Engineer Intern, you will be responsible for assisting in developing, and implementing manufacturing control systems for manufacturing equipment that enables Brewer Science to have world class manufacturing capabilities.

  • Work with team to develop controls programs (C# .NET) based on standard programming methods.
  • Assist with debug and commission control systems at our facilities during system integration.
  • Test, and integrate hardware and software components such as analog devices, motion controllers, sensors, vision systems, lasers, and other control related hardware.
  • Provide thorough testing of machine functionality to verify that the software program meets the project requirements.
  • Works with other languages and systems as necessary, such as the data acquisition system.
  • Works with the rest of the controls team to support the development of electrical, controls, software, and data collection systems.
  • Working toward Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Programming or related degree
