Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or a related engineering field required. Additional experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
  • 1 year of related experience in control system design.
  • General knowledge of rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors and motors.
  • General knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems and components such as VFD's, power supplies, relay logic, etc.
  • Experience troubleshooting automated machine systems, components, and electrical devices using test equipment.
  • General knowledge of NEC (National Electric Code) and other international electrical codes such as IEC and CSA.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Rockwell PLC platforms.

Responsibilities

  • The Controls Engineer is responsible for the implementation of industrial controls systems for RNG plants and related skid systems utilizing PLC's, SCADA and HMI software to meet project and customer requirements. This includes both hardware selection and implementation and related programming.
