As a Data Center Automation Engineer at Design Group, you will join a team that is recognized as an industry leader in system integration.   • Engineer, design, and program Data Center Building Automation Systems (BAS, BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS).
  • Execute the full lifecycle of complex BAS and EPMS projects from requirements gathering to client turnover.
  • Guide teams on BAS and EPMS designs and standards for diverse clients and projects.
  • Develop enterprise-wide standards and best practices for building automation and power monitoring.
  • Translate technical needs into engineered solutions and build long-term client relationships.
  • Champion innovation in BAS/EPMS technologies and evaluate emerging tools and strategies.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive engineering experience in building automation and EPMS.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Control Systems Engineering or similar.
  • Expertise in BAS and EPMS platforms and PLC, such as Rockwell Studio 5000 and Inductive Automation Ignition.
  • Experience with field instrumentation, industrial networking, system integration, and SCADA architectures.
  • Exceptional communication skills to interface with technical teams and executive-level clients.
  • Analytical mindset with advanced troubleshooting abilities.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel for project execution and commissioning activities.
  • Knowledge of datacenter commissioning requirements L1-L5.
  • Experience with datacenter greenfield construction.
  • Proficient in using revision/version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN).
  • Project management experience.
