In this role, you'll be based in the Electrical, Electronics, Software, Control System Design, and System Security (E24S) group. This group is part of the Rolls-Royce Engineering, Technology and Safety business capability and the central home for engineering skills in the Rolls-Royce group. E24S is made up of a diverse group of engineering areas covering: Software (traditional and model-base), Systems, Electronics, Electrical Power, and System Security. We work closely together in the design, integration, testing, in-service support and supply chain management to ensure our customers' needs are met. Controls Development Operations Engineers work on a wide variety of projects to support Rolls-Royce's diverse customer base in areas including, but not limited to: software design, software integration, software verification and system simulation. You'll also work at the intersection of software development and IT operations, with the goal of making the software development and verification tool chains run more efficiently. You'll build and manage automation pipelines (CI/CD) so new code gets tested, deployed and monitored continually. You'll provide and maintain infrastructure (servers and cloud), manage configurations and ensure systems are secure and stable. You'll also help to bridge communication gaps between developers, verification, simulation, operations and security teams.
